How to Test Your Mouse
This tool detects every input your mouse sends: left, right, and middle button clicks, scroll wheel movement, and cursor position. Handy for checking a new mouse, diagnosing double-click issues, or measuring click speed for gaming.
Click inside the test area
Left-click, right-click, and middle-click inside the dotted box. Each button counter goes up and the mouse graphic highlights the active button. If a counter does not move, that button is not registering.
Scroll up and down
Roll your scroll wheel in both directions. The scroll counters track each tick. If the count jumps by two or skips, your scroll encoder may be worn and needs cleaning or replacement.
Run the click speed test
Click the Start CPS Test button and click as fast as you can for 5 seconds. Your clicks per second are shown in real time. Most people score between 6 and 9 CPS. Competitive gamers aim for 10 or above.
